Student Money Management Center

At this time, the center has transitioned to fully virtual services and continues to provide innovative, student-centered services:

Our Financial Support Program provides emergency funding to students in need. The program is a loan-based program that addresses cost of attendance expenses (not including tuition and fees) specific to UNT. Only Denton campus students can apply. We have extended our loan period to accommodate students who have current needs and still have loan eligibility. The deadline for all Spring 2020 loans is now May 8, 2020. To apply for a new loan, review the different funds offered, eligibility requirements, and terms and conditions click here.

Our Financial Wellness Program provides one-on-one coaching sessions to students and can be scheduled via phone and Zoom video conferencing. We help students understand their financial situations and explore options and resources. Our goal is to ensure each student who interacts with our office has the tools they need to succeed today and in the future. All coaching sessions are confidential. To schedule a coaching session click here.

Our Financial Readiness Program provides outreach and educational services. We have transitioned to completely online sources to support our own events such as workshops, presentations, activities, and other special events. We also offer fun and informative podcasts that are available on multiple platforms such as SpotifyApple PodcastsBuzzsprout, and more.
