Austin holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Texas Woman's University and a master's degree in educational psychology from the University of North Texas. Prior to academic advising, he was active in both public and academic libraries, and has worked in the areas of access services, reference, and outreach. In his downtime, Austin enjoys reading, baking, and traveling. He has been assisting students in UNT's College of Information since the Spring 2018 semester.
